All Blacks v Springboks
The biggest match and only rugby international to ever come to Hamilton.....and we were practically pitch-side!
Absolutely amazing match with the final NZ try scored right under our noses (just a shame about the final score). Plus Si fulfilled his dream of seeing the haka live.
That night we hit town - 1st time we've seen Hamilton that busy and buzzing. Rolled in at 4am - for some crazy reason I got up the next morning and went for a run! (think I may still have been pissed)
After my crazy run we headed over to Rotarua for the perfect hangover cure - White water rafting- grade 5 rapids including going over a 7m waterfall.....awesome.
Unfortunately, it'll be a while till we have more weekends like this with a month of weekends and nights looming (unfortunatley Si follows me in the rota so I work one weekend, he does the next, then the same with nights!)
